What Experts Says
Overall Assessment and Positioning
The Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 (DB06250) is a 16-inch Windows convertible for work, study and streaming. Its 360° hinge lets the touchscreen fold into tent, stand and tablet positions, which sets it apart from the many 16-inch clamshells built around the same class of Intel processor.
Key Strengths and Standout Features
The Core Ultra 7 256V pairs 8 cores with a 47 TOPS NPU and Intel Arc graphics, so office work, browsing and on-device AI features run comfortably while the chip stays efficient. Dell quotes up to 21 hours of local video playback from the 64 Wh battery, which makes a full day away from a socket realistic for light work. The keyboard is backlit and includes a numeric keypad, the fingerprint reader sits in the power button, and the 1080p webcam suits video calls. Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A and HDMI 2.1 cover a monitor and accessories without adapters, and Wi-Fi 7 keeps wireless links current.
Value Proposition and Who It's Best Suited For
It suits students and home workers who want a big touchscreen they can fold for notes, films or presentations, and who value long battery life over a showpiece display. The 1920 x 1200 panel is bright enough indoors at 300 nits but covers only 45% of NTSC, so colour-critical creators should look at wider-gamut screens. At 2.05 kg it is heavy to hold as a tablet for long, the 16 GB of memory is soldered, there is no SD card reader or Ethernet port, and this configuration comes without a power adapter, so buyers without a USB-C charger need to budget for one.
